Description

  • Twenty-one black and white prints. Images of various church groups re-creating brush arbor sermons at the Florida Folk Festival. Brush arbors were informal open shelters under which church services were held. Originally, they were made from tree branches strewn across wooden scaffolding. Later ones were more permanent, similar to a pavilion.
