A death penalty protester places the picture of executed Vietnam veteran David Funchess in a basket of flowers next to Florida's Vietnam War Memorial. The memorial has the names of those who died in the war inscribed on stone. Funchess became the first Vietnam veteran to be executed in the United States when he died in the electric chair for a double killing in Jacksonville.
