The silver disc at upper left weighs 27 lbs., is 2 inches thick. The pure gold disc in upper center weighs 7 lbs, is 1 3/4" thick. The gold chip beneath it was found broken in this manner. Note the gold necklace with the mysterious coral-encrusted attachment. In the foreground and at upper right are 102 silver pieces of eight. In the center are three royal eight escudos, enclosed in plastic containers."
"In right center are several clumps of silver coins, fused together by action of salt water during the 250 years beneath the Atlantic Ocean. One of the clusters not shown here weighed 45 lbs. when salvagers brought it up. Beneath the large clump are four gold coins, the larger are 8 escudos, smaller are 4 escudos."
