The x-ray photo of these three pieces reveals a cannonball (top left) with several coins and other objects, an angle iron center, and a large spike with attached coins below. Notice that these coins close to iron objects still have sharp corners and outlines, showing that the iron has protected them from the curious electrolysis of the seawater. The museum, owned by treasure diver Arthur McKee, is located at Treasure Harbor, U.S.1, on Plantation Key, 5 miles south of Tavernier.
