General Note
Located 3 miles south of Chipley. The Florida Park Service would later acquire the property from a donaiton by Washington County in 1962 to create Falling Waters State Park. The name derives from Falling Waters Sink, a 100-feet deep limestone sinkhole that continuously seeps, resulting in "falling water' into the sink, which is pictured here.
