Alice Hollister (1886-1925) on guitar, who was married to Kalem Film Studio's cinematographer George Hollister. New York City-based Kalem Studios filmed in Jacksonville during the winter seasons. She often appeared as a bit player in their film, including the 1912 film, "From the Manager to the Cross," which is today listed on the National Film Registry. She played in 59 films from 1912 to1925. It is unknown which film this image is from.
