Parker Lee McDonald was born in Sebring on May 23, 1924. Served for the U.S. Army in Germany during World War II. He later served 14 years, 7 months as a Florida Supreme Court Justice from October 26, 1979 to May 31, 1994 (Chief Justice from 1986-1988).
