Shown during the Florida Supreme Court Historical Society of Tallahassee's oral history program to acknowledge and celebrate the career of ex-justice Stephen O'Connell.
Biographical Note
Stephen O'Connell was born in West Palm Beach, Florida on January 22, 1916. He served as Florida Supreme Court Justice October 21, 1955-October 15, 1967 and then as President of the University of Florida from 1967 to 1973. Stephen C. O'Connell died on his cattle ranch near Tallahassee on April 13, 2001.
