Accompanying note: "Veteran lawmaker Rep. John J. Crews Jr., of Baker County, suffered a heart attack in his office here Saturday. It was the second attack on the 43-year-old lawyer in two years. Crews was serving his seventh term in the House when he was stricken. This picture was made June 2, while he was acting Speaker of the House--two days before the regular session ended."
