Accompanying note: "Man on right, Randolph Hodges, of Cedar Key, until a few moments before this picture was made, held two, top-ranking state jobs. One as a state senator and the other as Director of Conservation. Hodges, immediate past President of the Senate, resigned his senate job today to devote full time as conservation director, which he has held for the past 18-months. The resignation was accepted by Governor Bryant, who is currently away from the Capitol. James Kynes, executive assistant to Bryant, and Hodges scan the resignation letter."
