The road in the foreground intersecting the Turnpike is State Road 704 (also known as Okeechobee Road or Okeechobee Boulevard).
Accompanying note: This graceful, mile-long curve carries the Sunshine State Parkway through the [West] Palm Beach Interchange. The curve is less than 1 degree. All curves on the Turnpike are long and sweeping, with none exceeding 1 1/2 degrees.
