  • Aeromarine A-39-B biplane equipped with a 100hp Curtiss OXX-6 engine. The pilot is Harry D. Copland. The lettering is "The Blade in the Plaid Box" advertisement for Lenox Hack Saws by the American Saw & Manufacturing Company of Springfield, Massachusetts. An advertising contract with the company called for Copland to fly from Portland, Maine to Daytona, Florida with stops at the principal cities en route.
