General Note
The Curtiss-Wright Kingbird was in Eastern's service from 1930 to 1934. It carried the pilot and seven passengers. The two Wright Whirlwind, air-cooled, engines were of 300 horsepower each. Cruising speed was 115mph, wingspan 54 feet 6 inches, length 34 feet 10 inches, height 10 feet, and its weight was 6,360 lbs, loaded, with a payload of 2,245lbs.
