General Note
The Davenport Historic District contains approximately 32 acres and was later added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on August 15, 1997. It is roughly bounded by Suwannee and Orange Avenues, Palmento Street, and West Boulevard. The district contains 28 historic buildings and 1 structure.

West Bay from US 17/92 facing E, note "The Mart" at left (completed in 1927, Davenport post office operated from the building between 1928 and 1970), 5. Sun dial factory, HHG+F Co office, 6.
