General Note
Formerly the First Church of Christ Scientist, the three-story masonry building was designed by architect Howard Lovewell Cheney and constructed about 1925. It is a contributing property to the North Shore Historic District (also known as Old Northeast Residential Neighborhood) that was later added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on February 20, 2003.
