General Note

  • This was one of the more elegant of the several quarter boats that moved along with progress of construction. This model with gabled roof, high ceilings and roof top ventilators, was reserved for superintendents, foremen and other officials, and served as a hotel for visiting home office personnel. This boat was usually docked at Marathon Central Supply until 1909 when the Marathon Hotel was opened.
