Letter written by Alden N. Sibley of Astatula, Florida, to Governor Edward A. Perry, resigning his position as a notary public in Sumter County. The portion of Sumter County where Sibley lived had recently become Lake County. Sibley requests to be appointed as a notary at large. Governor Perry indicates his acceptance of Sibley's resignation with a signature and date on the reverse.
