Zorayda Castle was built in 1883 by Bostonian millionaire Franklin Smith as his home. The castle is a replica of the Zorayda tower of the Alhambra, Spain's most famous castle in Old Granada. The castle shows how Moorish kings lived, entertained and ruled Spain. Also known as "Villa Zorayda" it was later added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1993.
