Accompanying note: "Harvey Hood (instructor at Cardiff and artist with private studio called Berllanderi) wanted to work with cast-iron. Charles Hook was a pioneer of the field so Hood contacted Hook and asked him to come to Wales and teach him cast iron sculpture. Hook took along student, apprentice, and friend John Raulerson (now FSU's outdoor amenities manager and sculpture professor). Hook and Raulerson fabricated a furnace for Harvey Hood and oversaw an iron pour."
