General Note
Formerly served as the Tampa Bay Hotel, built in 1890 and opened in 1891 by Henry Bradley Plant. Utilized by the University of Tampa since 1933. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972 and later to the National Historic Landmarks Program on May 11, 1976.
