SECRETARY OF STATE

Mental Health Month 1969

Dear Friend:

The Leon County Mental Health Assocation was organized in 1955 as a voluntary health agency devoted to the prevention of mental illness and the promotion of good mental health. It is doing an outstanding job in the fight against America's number one health problem. As chairman of the Cabinet Committee on Mental Health, I am proud to give my time and money to help this organizationa achieve its goals.

Because of the significance of mental health I thought  you would be interested in knowing more of the problems, what has been accomplished and plans for the futrue.

The LCMHA has made great strides in combating the problems in our area. You can be an important link in advancing the cause of the Mental Health Association by giving your time and money. Won't you please do your part in trying to prvental mental illness in your community?

Sincerely
