Notice! Hookworm Treatment Poster



THE STATE BOARD OF HEALTH of Florida will open a DISPENSARY or FIELD HOSPITAL for the treatment of HOOKWORK and other such diseases, at the following places and dates named below:



Monday, Nov. 4, 11, 18.



Wednesday, Nov. 6, 13, 20

CHIPLEY, Tuesday, Nov. 5, 12, 19, 26.

(Dispensary will be held in Chipley in the Dekle & Daniel Old Store, Cor. Fifth and Railroad Sts.)

Bonifay, Thursday, Nov. 7th, 14th, 21st.

Marianna, Saturday, Nov. 9th, 16th, 23d.

This dispensary will be centrally and conveniatly located in these different places, and will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Two Physicians from State Board of Health will be in charge. There will be on exhibition charts and specimens of the Hookworm, showing all stages of its development. Numerous pamphlets on Hygeien and Sanitation will be distributed; Microscopes will be on exhibition, and opportunities will be given everyone to view and extremely interesting collection of specimens, covering quite a series of contagious diseases.

Numerous talks and demonstrations will be made, in plain and simple language, so that everyone will be able to understand. We want every man, woman, and child in this section to visit the most convenient dispensary on the dates mentioned above, as much of the bad feeling, or the different complaints they suffer with, are caused by the Hookworm.

The State is Paying For It Out of Your Taxes

So many people have been found infect, and the result of treatment are so certain and so wonderful, that the State Board of Health feel that it is worth Dollars and cents to them, to restor so many of their people to health, happiness, and strength. It may be worth many dollars or maybe life itself to you and your children. You will have only this one chance for free treatment.
