Accompanying note: "The only original Italian 18th century theater in America. Built in 1798 in the castle of Catherine Cornaro at Asolo near Venice. Dismantled and stored in 1930; bought by the State of Florida in 1950. Regular programs of films, lectures and concerts, a winter opera season and a summer festival of Baroque and Restoration plays."
