August A. Busch Jr. had the Old Swiss House built in 1964 as a Valentine's Day present for his third wife, Trudy, whose brother owned the original Old Swiss House in Lucerne, Switzerland. It later became the Crown Colony House Restaurant in 1990.
Accompanying note: "Old Swiss House provides magnificent dining rooms and cafeteria for visitors at Busch Gardens, located in Tampa, Florida at Anheuser-Busch's Budweiser Brewery. At the left of Old Swiss House is the Carillon Tower and elevator."
