Accompanying notes: "The new Jitney Jungle Store at 1415 West Tennessee Street which will replace the old store, will have its grand opening Thursday through Saturday. Orchids will be presented to women and gifts will be given to youngsters. Prizes include a 1960 Fiat and a bicycle for children under the age of 13. Total value of prize is more than $4,000. The new store will have 14,000 square feet, more than a quarter mile of display cases, six check out stands, one of them an express lane, and electronic change makers. It will feature a customers' lounge, complete with water cooler and pay telephone. Kraft clowns will be on hand for the opening. The old store will be demolished to provide 100 parking places. The new store was built mainly by Leon County contractors."
