Ellis B. Engelbert was born in Conroy, Iowa on January 22, 1891. Received a diploma from the McKillip Veterinary College (Chicago) in 1916. "Doc" Engelbert had a large animal practice in Garrison, Iowa. After retirement he and his wife moved to 45 Nyborg Avenue at the Windmill Village mobile home park in Fort Myers. He died in Fort Myers, Florida on January 1, 1977.
Hazel Steward Engelbert was born in Moody, South Dakota in 1902 and died in Fort Myers in 1993.
