Claude was born as the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry N. Rahn on January 18, 1885 in Baltimore, Maryland. Married Imogene Evelyn Bubbett in 1913 in Baltimore, Maryland. Second marriage to Elizabeth Shearer in 1941. Died August 18, 1973 in Vero Beach, Florida.
