Description

A list compiled by WPA worker Edith Harris of churches in Union County. From correspondence in the file, it appears Harris was originally tasked with locating information on church incorporations in the county, but Harris reported only finding one church thus listed. Most of the information on churches in her list came from tax assessment rolls and deed records held by the county. Harris provides the name, race, and location of each church.
