  • One digital audio tape (DAT). The stage was the site for the 2000 State Fiddlers Competition. Pitt gave a demonstration of fiddling, and was not competing. Brigonari finished out the Youth category. Langston, Peterson, Smith, Taylor, and Carawan were competing in the Contemporary category. The Florida State Fiddle Contest was held each year at the Festival on Saturdays (the stages varied from year to year). The winners were allowed to perform on the Main Stage that evening.
