Description

  • One audio cassette tape. Max Dooley continues his demonstration of net-tying. Joseph Killgore, 91 year-old castnet and whip maker is interviewed by Bob Stone. He discusses how he began making nets (has been making nets 72 years), the different kinds of material used and different types of nets. He gives a demonstration of net-making and discusses the materials used - castnet needle, mesh board and nylon twine.
