Painted portrait of U.S. Congressman William Henry Brockenbrough
Born in Virginia February 23, 1812. Member of the Legislative Council for Mosquito (later Orange) county in 1838. Served in the Legislative Council (Senate) for the Western district in 1841 and 1842 (as president). He was U.S. District Attorney 1841-1843. Died in Tallahassee on January 28, 1850.
