General Note/Comment

  • One reel to reel recording. Boltin served as emcee. Williams was a street performer from Tallahassee. Thompson was a water witcher (diviner) from Clearwater. Grooms was a University of Florida journalism professor -- as well as a singer-songwriter-guitarist. Schuman played the autoharp. Dale Crider and Linda Bittner (later Mrs. Crider) sang about the environment; they lived in Gainesville. Rogers was singer-guitarist from St. Augustine. His performance was the last one for Sunday. George Heaps-Nelson joined him for a couple of songs.
