  • One audio cassette. Recorded at the M.C. Woods Frozen Shrimp Company. (Audio does not start immediately.) Woods discusses his family history and his history as a shrimper and then retailer. He also discusses seasonal shrimping; boat maker, Alvin Cook; his own shrimp retail business and his success; price of shrimp; status of the current season; migration in the shrimping business; talks of his shrimp house being the first shrimp house in Port St. Joe; changing market for shrimp. Interview conducted during fieldwork for video documentary on Florida shrimping called Fishing All My Days, and was made by the Florida Folklife Program, and the University of Florida (WUFT-TV).
