One reel to reel recording. Sawin served as emcee. A discussion that arose out of the Florida Forest Industries Project. Summers was a forest fire fighter, Dye was a sawmill supervisor, Baxley ran a logging business, and Pywell was a professor of Forestry at UF. They discuss acceptance of women in the forestry field, discrimination they faced, descriptions of their respective jobs, types of lumber and forest fires, and typical day at their jobs.
