  • Two reel to reel recordings. Hicks was a singer-songwriter form Tampa. Here, he was playing with Don Grooms and his band (Martin - fiddle; Nettles-guitar; Edwards -- bass). For a video of this performance, see FV-67 in S 1615. And videos FV-68 & FV-70 contain an impromptu acoustic performance they played directly after the concert in front of the stage that was not recorded on reel to reels.
