The second son of Baron Joachim Von Bulow, he was born at Ashley Hall, 1779 in Charleston, South Carolina and died at Bulowville, Florida in 1823 at the age of 44.
He owned 6000 acres near Ormond (Bulow plantation) for the production of sugar cane, cotton, indigo and rice.
