Included in the photograph are Elizabeth E. Leavel, Colonel Isaac E. Barwick and Julia E. Barwick. Photographed during Col. Barwick's last visit as he died in Jacksonville 10/16/24.
Biographical Note
Mrs. Leavel's husband, Reverend George C. Leavel was a Methodist minister in Ocala who died in 1879 and she moved to Wildwood.
Julia Barwick purchased acreage north of her brother's 80 acres. She lived with her sister in a home built for them by Issac at the corner of Webster and Wonder streets. She opened a millinery and ladies apparel shop in 1878 and operated it until shortly prior to her death in 1933.
