  • Zangara, attempted assasin of Franklin D. Roosevelt, killed instead Chicago mayor Anton Cermak at Miami's Bayfront Park on February 15, 1933. Zangara was put to death in the electric chair on March 20, 1933. After swearing at the witnesses because no cameramen were there to make photographs, he said, "Push the button. Go on and push the button." (neg. sleeve)
