General Note
The Bronson-Mulholland House (also known as Sunny Point) built circa 1845, is a three-story frame structure typical of the Southern Colonial style. It was later added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places on December 27, 1972.
Used as a headquarters for the Federal Army when Palatka was captured during the war between the States. Later used by the Confederates when the town was recaptured.
Biographical Note
Isaac Hopkins Bronson (October 16, 1802 - August 13, 1855) was a United States Representative from New York and a United States District Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Florida and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.
