Born in Jacksonville Jan 14, 1944. Entered Navy in Silver Springs, Sept. 27, 1967. Believed to have had more than one tour of duty in Vietnam, between 1968 and 1972. Completed an unprecedented ground rescue of 2 downed pilots deep in enemy territory in Quang Tri Province. Medical discharge from Navy in 1976, became FBI agent. Recipient of Medal of honor.
