  • "He operated a photographic studio in High Springs from September 1900 to July 1903. Records show he photographed residents of more than 50 towns in central and north central Florida during that period. After closing his studio he returned to the Swedish settlement at Piedmont and joined his younger brother, George, in operating sawmills in Orange, Osceola and Polk Counties for more than thirty years.
