General Note

  • Born on February 27, 1883, in Alachua County. Married Frances Sarah Caline "Fannie" Ford on September 16, 1903. He was shot and killed on May 11, 1912 by Cain and Fortune Perry while at a "social" (party) to arrest some "pistol toters". His name is inscribed on the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C. (East Wall, Panel 41, Line 21).
