Biographical Note
Harry Rich at 14 arrived as a stowaway in New Jersey 1n 1923. Moved with his family to Hollywood in 1949. Rented a store, later purchased, in Miami in 1953. Soon had stores in Ft. Lauderdale, Tampa and Jacksonville as well. In 1957 he moved the Miami Store and opened a warehouse at 8300 Biscayne Blvd. Said to be the largest floor covering store in the world.
