The book she is presenting to Secretary of State Glenda Hood is "S is for Sunshine: A Florida Alphabet".
Lecturer and book reviewer Carol Crane is widely recognized by many schools and educators for her expertise in children's literature. Ms. Crane speaks at state reading conventions across the country, and lives in Michigan, Florida and North Carolina.
Ms. Crane's book will be given away at the Florida booth in the Pavilion of States at the 2005 National Book Festival in Washington DC on September 24, 2005.
