The Artificially Provided Sustenance and Hydration bill: Excludes withholding or withdrawing of artificially provided sustenance or hydration from certain authority to make health care decisions; prohibits withholding or withdrawing of artificially provided sustenance or hydration from person in persistent vegetative state in specific circumstances; authorizes certain interested persons to petition for enforcement of section, etc. It passed the House as amended by Ambler (Amendment 608477) on March 17, 2005 but later died in the Senate Committee on Judiciary on May 6, 2005.
