Governor-elect Bob Martinez and Governor Bob Graham talk during a formal meeting - Tallahassee, Florida
Collection number N2006-6
Accompanying note "This November 12 file photo shows the one formal meeting of Republican Governor-elect Bob Martinez, left, and Governor Bob Graham. Martinez issued a critical statement late Friday on Graham's handling of the suspension of Leon County Supervisor of Elections Jan Pietrzyk, a Republican, and Graham's naming of aide Jere Moore to the post. Martinez stated that the Senate has removal authority. Martinez said the Senate could not act until he was Governor and, if given the opportunity to name a successor, it would not be Graham's selection of Moore."
