General Note
Built in 1901 for George W. Parks, this frame vernacular building, one of the very few standing in South Florida, was an upstairs home for the family, and a mercantile store on the ground floor. It continued as a general store until purchased by the City of Stuart in 1988. It is now occupied by the Stuart Heritage Museum.
