Aubrey Ghent has played gospel music on the electric steel guitar since age nine. For many years his father Henry Nelson was the steel guitarist at the House of God church in Ocala where Ghent is now pastor. Ghent's steel guitar is a simple six-string lap guitar tuned to a major chord.
