Before leaving for NYCity the folks all wanted us to get up a play, so within the short time of about 10 days we prepared and gave a very pleasant entertainment, entitled “The Love of One’s Neighbor” in the Art Hall. About 30 participated in the performance. Bertie Boomer and I coaching and managing it.
A few days later Sister Berthaldine gave a reception to all those participating in the play at her lovely home the “Farter Place.”
