Description
One reel to reel recording. Fitchen served as emcee. Billed as Will McLean and friends, their performance concludes on T87-56. McLean played with Dinella (guitar), Jemison (bass), and Ballew (guitar). McLean dedicated the new song Florida Sky to Thelma Boltin, and Oh Margaret to his new bride. Singer-songwriter Will McLean was often called the 'Father of Florida Folk.' The Black Hat Troubadour, a nickname for the hat he usually wore, authored over 3500 songs, and was a national figure on the folk music scene. A fifth generation Floridian, he died in 1990, the year after he won the Florida Folk Heritage award. This was Ballew's last performance at the Florida Folk Festival. He died on 13 August 1987.

Description
One digital audio tape (DAT). Staley served as emcee. The Neighborhood Blues Band, of Orlando, featured Evan Waller (guitar), Chip Luck (guitar), Ray Starling (bass), Larry Courtney (guitar), Dave Adams (drums), Dave Crukowski (harmonica), Odell Maxwell (harmonica) and Layla Bennett (piano.). The Tap Crackers were based out of Osceola County. The Calloway Sisters were from Winter Haven. Two Hits and a Miss featured Marge Hill (bass), Robert Hall (banjo), and Ned Hugh Bass (fiddle). They were from St. Cloud. Mt. Pleasant Choir were based out of Orlando.
